Learn how to incorporate yarns and fibers into a Nantucket Style basket creating tapestry hills and valleys, separated by rows of cane. Students will use a class mold and the weaving will be started prior to class to allow most students time to complete the basket. Base, glue on rim and lid are cherry wood. All materials are provided but students may bring any fibers of their own.
